# Surveys

> Measure how successfully your users are completing your in-app surveys and answering their questions.

## Why it Matters

Surveys play a crucial role in helping you understand your users' needs and preferences. By collecting feedback through in-app surveys, you can gain valuable insights into how to improve your application and deliver a better user experience. This, in turn, can lead to higher user satisfaction and loyalty.

## Analytics

* **Total Views:** number of total survey shows for the selected period. This includes both automatically and manually triggered surveys.
* **Total Completions:** number of total survey completions for the selected period.
* **Average Completion Time:** average selected survey completion time for the entire period.
* **Survey Engagement Chart:** shows how successfully users are completing your surveys after they start them.
* **Average Completion Time Chart:** shows average survey completion time over time, indicating how successfully users are progressing through the survey.
* **Survey Sessions Table:** shows all the survey sessions that users have started. Here you can see exactly where the survey was started and how far users got into the survey.
